YourBusiness.ca has no official HR support for your 80+ employees non-profit organization. Every manager is their own HR manager which makes coordinating HR more difficult and time consuming than it needs to be.
HR West becomes the defacto HR department. We took on [email protected] and [email protected], which allowed your managers to continually focus on their primary roles and do so with greater efficiency by leaving HR to us. HR support includes regular on-site work; hiring, performance management, policy work and health and safety. Our staff participate as members of the management team so that HR is a key part of organizational decision making, even at the board level.
Key changes include significant improvements in the hiring process (including sourcing, using competency based interview guides and on-boarding), re-igniting health and safety meetings, actively managing WCB and disability claims, facilitating the employee annual meetings and board planning sessions.
